Booties!

We're well into fall and winter is just around the corner. It's getting dark earlier and you need a jacket every time you set out for the day. And gone are the sandals of summer! Why not try on some booties for size? Don't get weighted down by calf or knee length boots. Pop on a pair of heeled booties and strut your stuff!

A black pair of booties will do you a whole lot of good all winter long. They are basic enough to go with all your outfits. We love this pair by Charlotte Olympia. The gold details are just beautiful. A flash of gold will certainly catch an eye or two. Pair them with a cocktail dress or your best pair of jeans. You really can't go wrong!

Feel free to venture past the basic! Jewel tones are perfect for the fall. Plums, sapphires and emeralds look just beautiful! We love these gold capped blue booties by Alexander McQueen. We love the suede texture. These would be quite a splurge but so worth it!

Don't you like to break the rules every once and a while? We sure do! Go ahead and do it! Wear while shoes after Labor Day! How about these winter white Gianvito Rossi booties. They have a cool, modern style to them. We love the zipper detail on the back!

Warm and cozy

It doesn't quite feel like fall yet. It's still pretty warm outside! And we really wish it would be a bit cooler outside. We can't help but dream of bundling up. Shearling is in! That fur look is very popular this late fall and winter. We'll share some of our favorites with you!

Furry vests. We admit, we love them! They are kind of neat and out there. But they are warm and add a bit of high fashion to your wardrobe. You'll be a winter goddess! This white fur vest from Michael Kors is really wonderful. Wear a solid color long sleeve tee underneath and pair it with a bold statement necklace.

We really like this crystal wildflowers necklace from J. Crew. It looks like ice and really rounds out this winter princess look.

These Burberry boots are way cool! We love the heeled ankle style boot right now. You can wear them with pants, leggings and skirts. And these add in the shearling aspect quite well. And they are going to be quite cozy on your feet. They are like a high fashion bootie and a pair of work boots had a love child. We're digging it! Try pairing them with plaid for a more femine lumberjack kind of look. Let's get cozy!

Seasons change but it's latex all the same!

It's here! It's finally here! Fall has come one again and we are ready for some sweater weather. Or if you're interested in something a little different...

Say hello to the Hobble Dress! Long, lean and sexy! This dress is part of our signature collection. There is sort of a turtle neck style up top. We think it really elongates your neck and gives a sliming effect.

Are you blushing?

The first day of fall isn't until September 22nd but we're in complete fall mode! We're ready to say goodbye to heat and hello to cool, crisp sweater weather. Who's with us? Summer has been fun but we're ready to move on!

One of our our favorite makeup trends for fall is blush. We crave that pinky, rosy look. Elle posted some really fantastic blushes. We're going to share a few favorites with you!

We "heart" this blush from Too Faced! This lovely trio of blushes is perfect for fair skin. Simply sweep your blush brush over all three colors. The formula is so creamy and pigmented. It gives a beautiful pinky, shimmery look.

Smashbox is a really great brand. Their colors and formula is just fantastic! And we we're so excited to see one of their blushes on the list. The love me blush is really wonderful. This darker pink color is great for darker skin or a more dramatic look.

A cream blush is another great way to wear blush. It looks less dry and is super blendable. They add a real freshness to your skin. They are a bit daunting at first but give it a try! We love the Bobbi Brown cheek tint. The color is so rich and vivid. It's a great way to take on a bold cheek look.

We encourage you to embrace blush this fall. Don't be scared! Invest is a good quality blush brush. You'll be glad you did! Use a light hand. Just a little will go a long way! Apply from the apple of cheek, blending the blush along your cheekbone. And play with the placement on the color based on your face shape. Be a blush goddess this fall!

Fall Grunge

And we're back to our regular scheduled programming. Wow! What a crazy last few weeks it's been! And it seems fall has snuck up on us while we we're so busy. Kids are going back to school and fall scents have come on the scene. Pumpkin, caramel and apple. Yum!

Elle has let us one fall trend that's sure to be super popular when the weather changes. Grunge! Yep, the late 80's, 90's grunge look is back in. Sweaters, Doc Martens and plaid. We're all about it. Check out some of our favorite pieces.

A plaid shirt is a no brainer for fall. They are so easy to layer. Perfect for those chilly mornings and warm afternoons. We love classic plaid, flannel coloring this shirt from La Garconne has. If you're really looking to embrace the grunge look, tie it around your waist. What a classic look! And it can easily be transformed into an evening look! Wear it buttoned up, with a cute, chunky statement necklace. Mixing these two styles is great way to grunge your own way!

You cannot embrace your inner grunge without a dress like this! We're in loved with this faded floral print jersey skater dress from Urban Outfitters. It's the perfect everyday dress for fall. It can be taken in so may directions. Add a really baggy tan sweater over the top of it. That's a really classic grungy look. Or for a more refined look, add a darker wash denim jacket. Pop on some fun combat boots to add a bit of today's style.

We had to feature these Doc Martens! How cool are these shoes? Don't worry. You can totally pull them off. They are actually really wearable. Try them with dresses, maxi skirts, shorts with tights and even tucked into jeans. Really! The floral print really adds a fun, feminine aspect to this tough pair of shoes. Have some fun with boots this fall!

News about fall fashion trends is popping up everywhere. It's so exciting! We we're browsing Elle and found an article about sheers for fall. That's right, transparent and sheer style blouse, dresses and skirts are for the fall.

They we're seen all over the fall runways. We think it's a great way to transition from summer to winter. Of course, we're going to share our favorites!

We found the Thakoon Ribbed-Bodice-Sheer-Band Dress to be really stunning. It's a real spin on a classic black dress. We love the sheer fabric elements that we're added to this dress. The simple triangle of fabric covering the deep v-neck. And we're in love with that beautiful stripe of sheer fabric around the skirt. It's an excellent way to subtly incorporate sheer into your fall look. And it will always be in style.

This sheer Stella McCarthy sweatshirt is really cool. We love the athletic look it can give to an outfit. It's the perfect layering piece. Wear a bright colored dress or tank underneath for a fun effect. It's a great way to continue wearing your favorite summer patterns and colors into the fall.

Fall is always so refreshing. The air is crisp and the world is slowly settling down for a winter's nap. There's something wonderful about it. We always crave simple makeup products that match up with the changing seasons.

As we began to plan out our fall wardrobes, we're always looking for pieces that can work in every season. These timeless pieces can effortlessly transition season after season, year after year. Gold jewelry falls into this category. From bright colors in the summer, sweaters in the fall, neutrals in the winter and floral in the spring. Elle collected some great gold jewelry pieces and we'll share some of our favorites with you!

Fun in the sun!

Summer is halfway over and we have yet to cover one of our favorite summer clothing items.... Sundresses! Oh, a good sundress really put a smile on our face. They are the perfect late summer clothing item. They are light and airy so you can keep cool in that August heat. And they are an easy option! You only need to pick out one clothing item. How easy is that!

Elle shared 18 summer sundresses to wear right now. We loved all of them but we're just going to share a few with you today. Let's jump on in! 

Wow! Check out the colors in this dress! We're in love with this Dolce and Gabbana sundress. The shape is so classic! This could easily be seen on any woman in the 50's or 60's. And the buttons are just precious. As far as styling, we would recommend a up-do. It's going to give more attention to the stripes and colors on the dress. Wear simple pearl earrings to continue the classic look the dress is bringing. Keep it simple and light! 

If you are fond of floral prints but a little bored by the same old same old, this Zara dress might be perfect for you! That's a whole lot of color!! But don't worry! You can pull it off! These colors are really going to pop against your tanned skin. And the simple shape is certain to flatter a variety of body types. Live it up before the summer is over! 

A bright colored sundress is a must have. Neutrals are great and all but nothing beats a pop of color! This Topshop dress certainly has that pop! It's a really beautiful shade of yellow.
