Getting ready for the big chill!

It doesn't quite feel like fall yet. It's still pretty warm outside! And we really wish it would be a bit cooler outside. We can't help but dream of bundling up. Shearling is in! That fur look is very popular this late fall and winter. We'll share some of our favorites with you!

Furry vests. We admit, we love them! They are kind of neat and out there. But they are warm and add a bit of high fashion to your wardrobe. You'll be a winter goddess! This white fur vest from Michael Kors is really wonderful. Wear a solid color long sleeve tee underneath and pair it with a bold statement necklace.
We really like this crystal wildflowers necklace from J. Crew. It looks like ice and really rounds out this winter princess look.

These Burberry boots are way cool! We love the heeled ankle style boot right now. You can wear them with pants, leggings and skirts. And these add in the shearling aspect quite well. And they are going to be quite cozy on your feet. They are like a high fashion bootie and a pair of work boots had a love child. We're digging it! Try pairing them with plaid for a more femine lumberjack kind of look. Let's get cozy!

Cooler weather will be here before we know it! Get out there and start picking out the softest sweaters and warmest boots for winter!

So naughty!

Hmmm.... here's a fashion trend we can really get behind. We have just one question. Do chains and whips excite you? Now you can see where this may be headed.

S&M inspired fashion. Adding a little... restraint to your everyday look. Let's get naughty, shall we?

There's something empowering about wearing all black. Bad ass even. Instead of blending in, you stand out. That's certainly the case with this Alexander McQueen dress. The tight fit leaves little to the imagination. And the white, spine detail adds real edge. We got one thing to say. Do you want to be the dominatrix of the office?

Behave? No, that's boring. Show your bad side with your jewelry. You heard us right. Check out this handcuff cuff by Jennifer Fisher. What a beautiful piece. Add it subtly into your Friday night out outfit. It's sure to bring out your better, bad side. It's a good thing. We promise...

Why just one strap when you can have a dozen? Oh you know, just for good measure. We're a big fan of the straps and buckles. Especially on this pair of heels by Isabel Marant. The criss cross pattern of the straps is quite mesmerizing. It make take a little bit of work to get into these shoes. But it's oh so worth it.

Don't you have a kinkier side just screaming to be let out? It's okay to flash a little bit in your everyday look. It's certainly a high fashion look that's on the rise. A little bit of leather never hurt nobody.

Things that creep and crawl, fly and buzz.

Either you like bugs or they give you the creepy crawlies. We're not going to lie, they do freak us out a bit. But they can be really beautiful! We fell in love with some bug inspired pieces. We thought we would share a few with you!

These may be the coolest pants we've ever seen. There's no doubt about it. These pants have bugs printed all over them. And they are gorgeously tailored. If it was up to us, we would pair these with a collared white button down blouse and a pair of forest green loafers. What a twist on the polished look.

Sunshine and warm weather are starting to peek around the corner. Maybe some new shades are in order? Found them! Check out this pair! We are digging that creepy crawly pattern. So subtle. It's super cute style with a touch of creepy.

We can't forget about spiders. These little 8 legged fellas cover this gorgeous maroon dress. It's perfectly tailored and belted. It has that goth, Addams Family vibe that we're loving right now. It's going to be eye-catching. Gorgeous! We need to get our hands on one these. Do you?

We can't get enough of these bug inspired pieces. We know what we'll be adding into our wardrobe next. Will you? Or do you still have the creepy crawlies?

Totes on totes on totes

Want to know something we are constantly wishing for? Simplicity. We don't want all this fuss. We want to be able to get up and out of the house without it being a huge production.

Well, there are a few things that can help. Today's suggestion? A tote bag. A decent size bag that will hold everything you need for work, running errands and even squeezing a few minutes in at the gym. One bag that's works for many different elements of your life. And cute too! Check out some of our favorites.

We love a good Michael Kors bag. So classic and smart looking. He does totes too! Just look at this one. What a gorgeous bag! We love the shape of this tote. And we have no doubt it will hold everything you'll need. Just throw your lunch in on your way out the door and you're ready for the day!

Maybe simplicity for you is a smaller bag. Not a problem! Check out this smaller, structured tote. It's a little bit more manageable and more portable. If you don't need to tote as many things around, this might be the bag for you! We think this is a great work bag!

Maybe you are longing for a pop of color? We have a tote for that too! Check out this bright red bag by Rebecca Minkoff. Gorgeous! We love the box bottom on this bag. It makes it easier to find things when you set it down. It gives a great amount of structure to this bag. What a beauty!

Are we saying a tote bag is the answer to all your problems? Not at all! But it can be a step in the right direction. And well,  who doesn't want a new handbag?

Bold and fearless for Fall!

Happy Monday, everyone! We're ready for another week. How about you? Look what we have for our Outfit of the Week!
We love our Short Sleeved Shirt Dress! It's straight from our Too Short Collection. And it's super short. Your body is going to really pop! It's fully tailored and will show off your every curve.

And can we talk about that collar? It's so unique and really makes this dress stand out! The contrasting outlining and pocket detail is something we love as well! It's so bold. It really has the essence of the Marvel comics fashion trend that's super in right now.

Pick your own colors for both the body of the dress and the outline! The Short Sleeved Shirt Dress certainly has some character. Check it out for the fall!

Fall is right around the corner!

Summer is nearly halfway over! Crazy right?! We're already starting to plan for the fall. Nothing too crazy but we did find a great article on Glamour that gives a little sneak peek into this fall's do's and don'ts. Stayed tuned as we cover a few of the highlights.

Oh how we miss wearing hats! Well, we have a few sun hats.... But there's nothing quite like the hats we wear when it's chilly out. Hats are going to be a must have this fall. We encourage you to try it out! Even if you're not a "hat person". Everyone can be a hat person! Everyone can rock a beanie. Slouch it on your head or wear it traditionally with a pom pom on top! Or try out a fedora or bucket style hat for a classic look. Go for color! Jewel tones are beautiful in the fall. Or maybe a pop of mustard yellow. Go crazy for hats!!

Speaking of color.... Emerald is still in! It's the color or the year and we're still in love! Add it in where ever you can. Use it as an accent. As simple as a cocktail ring, skinny belt or even a pair of kitten heels. It's such a gorgeous color! It's covering the fall runways. Mix it in with other jewel tones and neutrals for a beautiful yet muted fall look. We can hardly wait!

We're happy to see the military look is still in! We're in love with the structured look. It's an easy way to add an edge to your look. And something about fall makes us want to toughen up a little. Opt for a military style jacket. Look for strong lines, buttons and that classic military green color. And then add back in more feminine pieces for a high fashion look!

So, get out there and start assembling you fall ensembles! Stores are already starting to bust out their fall and winter items. Stay ahead of the game and get a few pieces that will excite you for the upcoming season! We know we're excited for cooler weather, sweaters and falling leaves. Are you?

Black and white!

We've certainly shared a fair share of bright colors and patterns with you! They are in this summer! But nothing is more classic than black and white. Black and white clothing is simple, classic and basic. It's a great look for the summer or anytime of the year! Today, we're sharing some of our favorite black and while clothing pieces originally featured by Elle!

This pair of black and white striped jeans by Hudson are really up our alley! They are classic with a twist. Depending on what you wear on to top, you can really dress these up or rock them out. We find them to to be really versatile. What do you think?

This swimsuit takes us straight back to the 1950's! We're in love with this two piece bandeau swimsuit by Norma Kamali. It's a very different style from most of the suits we're seeing this summer. The twisted style of the top is so interesting! You'll surely gain a few compliments in this bathing suit!
What a classic pair of heels by Zara! These shoes will easily transition with the seasons and years. The basic style and classic color scheme are so versatile. We think these would look great paired with any of our dresses. If you're looking for a new pair of heels, these could be just the pair!

Black and white. Do you love this classic combination? How would you wear some of these pieces? Or are you going to stick to patterns and colors? let us know what you think!

No funny business here! Just prints and plenty of them!!

Happy April Fool's day! Now, don't you worry. There aren't any tricks here today! We're just bringing you a bit of spring fashion advice. Today we're talking prints!

Prints always seem to trend during the spring and early summer. But it seems they are especially trendy this year. And we are loving them too!

Just this weekend, we were looking at an article on Glamour. They were focusing on printed skirts and what looks best with your body type. Our favorites were this zig-zag skirt from Anne Klein. Oh and this more affordable pencil style skirt from Old Navy looks fun!

We recommend pairing a sheer blouse up top or even a solid colored t-shirt for a more casual look. Tuck the shirt in and add a skinny brown belt to emphasis your waistline. Either way, we think adding in some printed skirts into your everyday spring wardrobe will add some whimsy!

Cosmopolitan also shared some of their favorite printed clothing. We told you prints are in! Spring often presents some fun, semi formal events for all all to attend; bridal and baby showers and garden parties galore! We think this dress featured in the article from Piperlime would be perfect to wear! And tribal prints transition wonderfully into summertime.

Or maybe you already have the perfect outfit. Well, don't forget about accessories! Cosmo says printed scarves we one of the main features on the Dolce and Gabbana spring runway. Here's a fun tip! Hit up your local thrift or vintage shop for some fun patterned scarves of your own. Wear them as a headband, tie them around a ponytail or wear them around you neck. Scarves are just for the winter and fall!

Easter Sunday Style

Believe it or not, Easter is this Sunday. It feels like it was just Christmas! Don't get us wrong. We're excited for this holiday that marks the start of spring. It's the perfect time to show off your new spring dress, hat or pair of shoes. If you're still deciding on what to wear, we can help! Here's our take on Easter Sunday fashion.

When it comes to choosing what to wear, it's good to think cute but also modest. But that doesn't mean grandma style! Glamour magazine recently posted about Easter fashion. We loved all the pieces they showed us. Our favorite has to be the Kimchi blue Alabama dress from Urban Outfitters. It's a great loose-fitting shift dress. It's a great basic dress that is really easy to accessorize. This dress seems comfortable enough to wear all day long. Plus, it won't be completely impractical when you're dashing to and fro, searching for Easter eggs.

We also loved the pair of brocade pants from J.Crew. They have such a fun design and are a bit dressier. We think they would look great paired with a white button down peter pan colored blouse, a gold statement necklace and ballet flats. It's a great way to look dressy but also stay comfortable. And we are all about comfort!

We found another fun article on Vogue talking all about Easter hats. There are still some out there who go all out, sporting giant hats. But for those of us who aren't as daring, there are other choices! We loved the cloche hat. It's so retro and cute. And we find it to be festive and fun. If the one from Barneys isn't quite in your price range, we suggest Target! We just saw some adorable cloche styles hats in stock the other day.

We hope our little Easter style guide has inspired you! And we wish you a Happy Easter! May the Easter bunny leave you the biggest chocolate bunny of them all!
