Something blue

It's so hard to stay in the moment. We're always looking towards the next thing, planning ahead. It's a good habit for sure. But it's also important to be present. So on that note, we want to think on spring! It's absolutely lovely out there and we have been waiting all winter long. So, let's breathe some life into that closet of yours. It's easy!

If this doesn't say spring, we really don't know what does! This shift from Rejina Pyo is just the look we are going for this season. Light blue material and straps. Easy to pair with a sweater or cardigan on chilly mornings. And can we talk about the precious button detail? What a great piece for everyday wear. Perfect for all those adventures you'll be going on! Just pair with a basic pair of white sneakers and go!

Bathing beauty!

We need to talk about something, y'all. The elephant in the room... Who is bikini ready? Of course, we all are. But are you feeling ready to bust out yet? Or maybe you just want to switch it up and try a different style? Yeah, same over here.

But that's okay! There are some really great one piece bathing suits out there! We are so excited to share a few with you. Check this out. 

Big and bold floral prints are always in when it comes to bathing suits. It's hard to pass u such a fun print for pool, lake or seaside wear! This includes one piece suits too! Take this H&M suit for instance. Nice basic shape, fun added ruffle detail and it's affordable too! What's not to love? All you need is a big straw sun hat and you are set all summer long! 

Crop tops are cute, sure. High waisted shorts will still be in. But what's hot this season? Off the shoulder shirts and blouses! It's a great look! And we found one in bathing suit style too. We adore this suit! It's just so girly and fun! 

And just to throw something different into the mix, we have this one! We love when one piece suits have cutouts. It's really mixes things up and adds some much needed flair. It's a good way to show some skin in a new way. That's going to leave some interesting tan lines!

Hello spring! We're so happy you are here! We're all too ready to shed our dark heavy clothing for something light! You know... we have just the thing.

First up? Something simple and feminine. Airy, lacy and strappy! Yep, here it is. We adore this dress by H&M. It's just elegant and perfect for summer. And what a great base for accessorizing! Go for a more natural look with brown or tan accessories. Or be bold with bright splashes of color!

Soft and breezy is nice and all. There is a time and a place, that's for sure. But for those of us wanting to boldly bare some skin, this Topshop dress is it! Oh, we just love it!! That little knot detail is too cute. We are so into this fun retro style!! You'll be the belle of the ball...er, barbecue?

Okay... we had to throw it a wild card. You know us! But we are really digging this number by Zara! It's really different. To be honest, it kind of gives us that 70's bride feel. All you need is some baby's breath in your hair and you are set! But really, this could be a really fun look for summer. Groovy, baby!

Hello sunshine

The first day of spring is next week! So we're allowed to talk sandals now? We'll take that as a yes.

First up? These Joie Sable sandals. They are nice and basic. They'll go with just about everything. And we mean everything! The contrast for the black and tan proves to be a very chic look! Go past the flip flop look this summer.

White sandals. Now that's risky business! But they are a really hot look this summer. Take a look at these Tibi Mina Sandals! We love the platform. It gives the shoe a futuristic look. What do you think?

Now these sandals look a little bit more like birkenstocks. They have the classic suede back material and cork-like sole. But this pair is a little jazzed up! We love the jewels atop the straps. They are a little different... but we love them!

We are ready to set our feet free! Sandals and wedges!! We are getting anxious for warmer weather. So until then, shoe shopping will have to do. Check out just a few of our favorites.

We all have that favorite pair of brown sandals. You know, the ones that go with everything? Well, if you can manage to part when them at any point this summer, these wedges just might fill the void. Summertime is a great time to bring in some retro style to your everyday look. That classic, bombshell look never grow old! And it's so much fun. It's almost like dressing up! These Dolce and Gabbanna wedges hit the nail on the head. The back and white polka dot pattern and circle clasp bring such flair! And that floral graphic on the side? Too cool!

Wedges aren't always cute and flirty. They can be edgy too! This pair by Marc by Marc Jacobs is what we are talking about. They really make a statement! We love the solid black color. And the pattern underneath is cool too. Pair these with a pair of acid wash high waisted shorts and crop top. Now that's a good look.

Spring shoes!

It's March! And we are inching ever closer to spring. And this week we are in the mood for fun spring shoes! Not sandals yet. And not wedges... Ah, we have just the thing! Loafers!

We love shoes with a little whimsy! These are really something cute and fun for your feet! Check out these colorful lace-ups by Marc Jacobs. Ahh!! We cannot handle them! Pop on your favorite pair of cropped trousers and a button up top! Maybe add in some big pearl earrings or a pearl necklace. Quirky and adorable!

These flats are a bit crazy. But we just love them so much! Check out these glitter oxfords. They are so glitzy and beautiful! Skip out on jewelry and patterns. Add this pair to a basic outfit and they'll really shine!



 

Daydreaming...

Oh, what are we doing? Funny you ask... Well, if we aren't researching plane fare or oceanfront accommodations... well, we are shoe shopping. Yeah, nothing new. But we can't wait for spring and summertime!! Just go with it! Here are some of our favorites.

Let's start out with this versatile look by Dolce Vita. We adore the Lola wedge! Those wide straps are such a bold look. And how about those gold accents? We are all about that buckle! These wedges are great for everyday use. Just the right wedge height!

You know what? We like things a little bold and fun! And these KG by Kurt Geiger embroidered wedges are just that! We are really digging that platform heel action. They basic shape and design allow for the pattern to really shine. And what a gorgeous pattern it is! We can't wait to wear these shoes out!!

We had to show you just one more style. We couldn't resist! These Chloe platform sandals are a super cool look! Wedges without all the straps! Just slip them on and go. A spring and summer staple shoe? Yeah, we think so!

Just daydreaming...

We don't want to shock you... just gently remind you that bathing suit season is on the not too distant horizon. Yes, it may be cold and icy now. But before you know it, you'll be poolside. Or perhaps you are breaking free, headed somewhere warm sometime soon? We'll let you do swimsuit body worrying. We'll provide the suits.

Oh, we are excited! Why? Because one piece suits aren't frumpy anymore!! In fact, we think this one by Dolce and Gabbana is cuter than your average two piece. It has some true retro flair. And that halter style top is perfect for a day out on the beach.

There's just something about a red bathing suit. That pop of bright color stands out against the summer sun and surf. And it's absolutely gorgeous. Like this Lisa Marie Fernandez creation. Not your typical one piece! You'll be showing plenty off, don't you worry. And we adore that white sash. Fab!

Let's go in a completely different direction. Like this crocheted one piece from Urban Outfitters. Any hippies out there? Or hippies at heart? This suit is too cool. The color and texture combination is so unique. Pair this suit with a pair of jean shorts and you'll have a pretty cool outfit as well.

Alright, let's get started! Have you all had the chance to try Hanky Panty thongs? So great, right? Total game changer. Well they apparently do much more than just underwear! Behold, the teddy. Ow ow! Now that is a look. We love this strappy lacy number. And the open lacing down the front? We can't. Yeah, you need this and you need it now.

Diving into neoprene

Okay, let's face it. You aren't going swimming anytime soon. Much less scuba diving. But you can still rock some neoprene! Yeah, that's a thing! Check out some of these great essential neoprene pieces for your own wardrobe!

Can we say it? We're big fans of neoprene! It has a cool feel to it. And it really hugs to your body. Here's a great example of that! This dress by MSGM. The pleats are just lovely. We love how the begin in the bodice and extend down. Such a slimming look! And the maroon color? It's going to look great in every season!

A basic skirt is a must! We're sure you have your little latex skirt. And a body con skirt is great for a night out! A neoprene skirt might just be your new favorite. Like this skirt by Kenzo. It's the perfect flash of color! Dress it up or dress it down. It's up to you!

Going for a casual look? We have just the thing. Check out this sweatshirt by Alexander Wang. It looks like jersey but it's neoprene! It's going to guarantee a cool, modern look. Pair it with a pair of print leggings and a statement necklace for a daytime look. Try something a little different!

How's that new year resolution going? It's tough stuff, we know! Clearly you need some inspiration. And if you have fitness goals, this post might be all the motivation you need...

Going to the gym is tough.... finding the time, getting up the nerve, deciding what machine to hop on. But you know what we think helps? A great outfit to wear. Yes, that sounds a bit ridiculous. But it's actually not a crazy idea! It's been proven that a great set of gym clothes really does help!

And we're personally a huge fan of compression leggings. They are easy to throw on. They look great! And it's crazy just how many pairs you can start to hoard away... But you just need another pair! Okay, onto the next issue with working out. It's cold outside! Who wants to leave their warm bed in the morning to work out? Yeah, not fun at all. But you have goals, darn it!! So, it's time to bundle up and get out there. And you can do it in style. We adore this sweatshirt by H&M. That funnel neck! The thumb holes! And a great minimal style. A must!!

And let's face it. You can always use another sports bra. And this one is a little bit different. We love that sporty zipper up the middle. And the maroon color is great for winter. Just a great pick.

A long winter's nap

Second day back... feeling sleepy? Yawn! We cannot wait to get back in to bed. Or at least get into something a little more comfortable... Here's some inspiration!

We're all about being comfy. And this pair looks just right. Nice and silky. A really classic look that won't go out of style. Perfect for the upcoming winter months. Yet cool enough on those warmer nights.

Anyone else get too warm when they sleep? Ah, so we're not alone! This pair should suit us just fine. They have that classic look... just shorter. And so soft too. You are getting sleepy, very very sleepy.

This pair is so loud, we're worried it might keep you awake! We're kidding of course. This pair is a great in-between. Long on the top and short on the bottom. And so fun! you certainly couldn't pull these off as your daytime look!

Rock on!

Need a fun pair of heels to rock with your latex? Then you need look no further! We are totally loving these PVC heels!

Oh how we lust after any pair of Christian Louboutin high heels. Gorgeous designs and bring red bottoms. This pair is no exception! They have a great slingback design. They have a real mod look to them. The mix of the beige, black, white and clear material work so well together. We think they are great for both day and nighttime.

Alright, let's see some colors! PVC heels can be bright and beautifully colored. That's what we love about this trend. Bring on those candy colors. Check out this pair by Fendi! We love those blues and purples. And the bold angles and lines are quite the statement. Pair them with a basic dress and you are ready for a night out on the town!

Though those shoes were bold? Ha! We can go bolder! The clear PVC material allows for some bold patterns. Like this pair by Rupert Sanderson. Check out that awesome zig zag pattern! And the little pink outline is the perfect pop of color.

Merry and bright

It's our last post before Christmas! And you know what we recommend? Getting out there and enjoying the lights and decorations!! But you'll want to bundle up. Oh yes, it's time to get cozy! We think a infinity scarf is just the thing. It's going to be the finishing touch to that layered marshmallow-like look. They also make an excellent last minute gift!!

We like infinity scarves because well... they are easy. Putting them on is a snap! No need to wrap around or tie. Just put it over your head and you are set to head out the door. We have our eye on this one from Topshop. We're big fans of the heathered, fleck pattern. It's a great way to put a twist on a basic. Such a beautiful scarf!
