Welcome back! We had a great weekend in Chicago at International Mr. Leather. And can you believe it?  It's already time for the outfit of the week!

Check out the Yvonne Dress. It's a great basic tank dress. It's got a classic look to it. It has a great, deep neckline. It has a simple and basic look to it.

Turn to the back and you'll see just how sporty it is! It has that great Y or racer back style to it. Isn't it neat? This dress certainly has that athletic look. It's great for those of you who don't want that frilly look!

We love that seamless look of latex. We don't like to break up the shiny latex look with a zipper. But we can't not have a zipper. That would be impossible! So we hid it on the side of the Yvonne.

Happy Memorial Day! What are you doing to celebrate the start of summer 2013? Are you heading to the beach or grilling with friends and family? Well, whatever you're doing, summertime is here and it's time to celebrate! We're searched The Latex Store and put together an outfit of the week inspired by Memorial Day. First up, the top!

This is the Latex Halter Top. We're all about the halter neckline for the summertime. This top also comes in many colors, including red, white and blue, if you're feeling patriotic! And we also love the versitlity of the latex halter top. It can be combined with so many bottoms for endless possiblities. You gotta love those basic pieces!

Who wears Short Shorts? These shorts are really bringing that summertime vibe. They are super short and flirty! Show off those legs! We suggest trying these short shorts in a red! And like the halter top, they are a great basic for your latex wardrobe.

Memorial Day Weekend!

Who is ready for their Memorial Day weekend? We are! Of course, we won't be pool or beach side this year. We're doing something even better! We are at International Mr. Leather in Chicago. We couldn't be happier to vending our men's latex from Friday to Monday!

But for all of you who plan on hitting the beach or the neighborhood cookout, we have a few tips and tricks for your Memorial Day weekend!

Cosmopolitan magazine covered some basic essentials for the weekend. What are you planning on wearing? We love the idea of wearing a sundress! There are so many cute ones to choose from. A bright pattern is a great way to look summery and festive. And it's going to keep you cool! That's really important with the warmer temperatures expected this weekend. Plus it makes an easy cover up for your bathing suit!

When you head back to work on Tuesday, chances are you're going to be seeing red. Yes, red from all sunburn! It happens every year! Break the cycle. Lather on that sunscreen. And remember to reapply, reapply and reapply! Also, remember to pack a hat. That's a great way to shield your face from the sun and protect your scalp. We love this featured straw fedora! Too cute!

Maybe you're not into all the sun and water. That's okay! There are plenty of great sales this weekend! Lucky gave us a heads up on some really great sales. Stores like Zappo's, Rebecca Minkoff, and Macy's will be having big sales all weekend long! And of course, we have our sale going on. Take some time this weekend and spoil yourself! You deserve it!

Get that cat eye look!

Did you catch our outfit of the week on Monday? What a head turner! And when your wearing something like the buckle vee dress, it's fun to sport a dramatic eye look. But you're going to need a good eyeliner! Elle just shared some and we thought we would share our favorites with you!

The Balm is an up and coming makeup brand. We love their products and retro looking packaging. They are really making makeup fun! Their schwing liquid eyeliner is a great product! We love the matte finish. And the thin tip allows for easy application.

NYX is a great drugstore brand. Their products are affordable and really great quality. We love their curve eyeliner. It's design allows for easier grip of the eyeliner pen. That makes cat eye and winged eyeliner designs much easier! And we love the long wearing formula.

M.A.C is always a staple for us. And their Penultimate eyeliner is no exception. We love the felt tip on this pen. It has two sides: one for smaller application and the other for wider application. It allows for both daytime and night time eye looks.

Spring and summer travel updates

Hey latex peeps! Are you having a great week? We hope so! We've been incredibly busy getting geared up for... Dom Con LA! We're so excited for this event! Keep reading for some more travel information!

 Yes, we will be at Dom Con in Los Angeles, California this weekend. We're packing up all our latex (Well, as much as we can bring!) and heading across the country to the west coast! This is one of our favorite events! We're so excited to share our latex with all of you, guys and gals!

Will you be attending? We sure hope so! Be sure to stop by and play! We can't wait!

Can't make it this weekend? Not to worry! There are lots of great events all summer long. Later in May, TLS RubberGear and Midnight Blue's will be at International Mr. Leather! And in July, The Latex Store, TLS RubberGear and Midnight Blue's will be at Thunder in the Mountains in Denver, Colorado. Also in July, we will be at Boston Fetish Flea Market! July will prove to be very busy for us! It will keep our minds off the heat!

And of course, we will be at Fetish Con in August. We're already prepping for the big event! You should too! If you plan on attending, make plans to do so now! We want to see all of you out there, having a great time! It's going to be a blast.

Latex Store on the move!

Hey folks! So, it's been a while since we hit the road. But soon we'll be at it again!

Next weekend, we'll be heading out to Dallas, TX for South Plains Leatherfest! It's not too far from us so we're bringing out all the stops. We'll have both men's and women's latex with us. We're so excited to be part of this event! Registration for this event is still open! We hope to see you there!

We know it's a ways off but we will be at Dom Con LA and International Mr. Leather in Chicago in May. If you want to attend either of these events, you should start making plans! We're going to be bringing out all we got. Both of these events are so much fun. We hope to see some of you soon! 

DomCon Atlanta = Success!!

Hey everyone! How was your weekend? Ours was amazing! We were at DomCom Atlanta, doing what we do best.  We had so much fun putting peeps in our latex fashions! Oh and catching up with our Atlanta friends. And all of our other friends who popped by our booth to say hello! What a fantastic weekend!

And speaking of fun weekends, we have another one up ahead. We'll be at Mr. International Leather the first weekend in November! That's not too far away. And we are bringing all the men's latex we got! It's going to be a great event for our fellas. If you're making plans to attend, you have to stop by! Chicago, first weekend in November!

Upcoming travels for The Latex Store

Over here at The Latex Store we are recovering from our two weekends at both DomCom and International Mr. Leather. As we said before, we had a blast! Both conventions were great for The Latex Store! The best part? Getting to dress people up in the latex! We love seeing our customers in their new duds. It's really a treat. Oh how we love to vend latex!

And we're not done yet! We have some more events planned for summer 2012. In July, we are going to Denver, Colorado, for Thunder in the Mountains! And those specific dates are July 12th through the 15th. The Latex Store and our brother stores, TLS LatexGear and Midnight Blue's will be at this event. We're pretty jived about it!

And we will also be going to...drum roll please... Fetish Con!! We can't wait for August! This is a highly, highly anticipated event for us and many others! And those specific dates are August 1st through the 5th. The Latex Store and Midnight Blue's will be there. Check out our The Latex Store on the Road page for a full list of our past and future travel dates for 2011 and 2012.

TLS RubberGear had a terrific weekend in Chicago at International Mr. Leather! Here are some pictures taken while we were there this holiday weekend!

Wow! We had such a great time! It was awesome to be able to meet our customers and outfit them in our latex! We loved it! Because of the holiday, we thought we might share a piece from The Latex Store's uniform section.

This is our Military Uniform. It is a single piece featuring pocket detailing near the bust. It also is long sleeved with a collar as well! It stays pretty true to a military uniform except for the fact it is a mini latex dress! The only color option is the army green with red detail color. If you would also like the hat, you can find the single ridge here and the double ridge here. If you needed a latex military uniform, this would be a great choice! The Latex Store would like to thank all of those who have fought for our freedom. We are thinking about you and your families on this day. Thank you for your service!

Monday after DomCon

Wow!! That's all we can say! The Latex Store had a fantastic weekend at DomCon LA. We got to see so many of our lovely customers and do our favorite thing: sell really great latex clothing! Because we are an online store we really cherish these events. It great to get up close and personal with all of our customers! We love you all and want to thank you so much for choosing us! It's a real honor!

And we get to do it all again this weekend! We're heading out to the windy city of Chicago, Illinois, with our brother store,TLS RubberGear for International Mr. Leather. We will be vending there the entire holiday weekend (Friday to Monday) and it's open to the public! It will mostly be pieces for our gentleman latex wearers but we will also have a few things for the ladies too! So if you'll be there too, please come say hello and see our rubber gear and latex in person!

Two colors and a zipper.. what's not to love?!

It's another outfit of the week!! In our last post we brought you the Stella and today we give you the....

Eva!! We love this dress from our Too Short Collection. We received some love for our Too Short Collection on our twitter and thought we might share one of our favorites! The Eva is a two color latex dress. And you get to choose both colors! That a really great option with this dress. Check out the other product photos to see it in a classic white and black or pink and black! But, feel free to play around with colors and really make it unique to you! The tailoring of this dress is really detailed, giving you a really excellent fit. And that zipper in the front adds some great detail! And it makes getting in and out of the Eva so much easier! A halter neckline makes the Eva perfect for summertime too! Oh, we really love this dress! DomCon LA is this weekend and TLS RubberGear, our brother site will be in Chicago at International Mr. Leather the following weekend! Whew!! Hope to see some of you at one of these events!

Let's hear it for the boys!

Now, latex is certainly not just for the ladies. It’s for guys too! The Latex Store has an excellent selection of men’s latex clothing and accessories! And fellas, you get a little sizing advice too. When finding you size, you’re going to need a tape measure as well. Take your clothing off and measure your bare skin. That’s very important!

Once you get that measurement, go ahead and subtract an inch so you get some stretch! Here’s an example. Let’s say you want to purchase our latex tom suit. Because it is a full body suit, you’ll need a measurement for your waist. To get that measurement, you’ll need to put your arms to your sides. Now, find the bend in your arm. This is where your waist is. You’ll want to use that measurement to find your size. Use our size chart! There is also a link on the latex tom suit product page.
