Get dressed up!

Halloween is only 3 days away! Have you picked out your costume yet? Well you better get to it! Time is a wasting! Here, let us help you out. Let's have a sexy Halloween!

If you had the choice to go as Betty Page for Halloween, wouldn't you say yes?! Such an iconic, sexy look. And if you are willing to be scantily clad, it's easy to pull off. The hair is a must. If you're not willing to cut your locks to get that classic bangs look, a wig will always suffice! You need a nice red lip and heavy eyeliner.

As far as the outfit is concerned, how about a corset? Do you happen to have one of ours hanging around? We do love this one. Very Betty! If not, any sexy bra, pantie and garter set will do! Check your local boutique for those items. And some stockings and a whip will really finish this look off. Even a ball gag if you're feeling especially devious.

Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee! Well, you can be. We're talking about Sandy from Grease! This is a really easy costume to pull off. A black top and leggings are the two main pieces. Then add in big gold hoop earrings and red hot stilettos. Pout your lips and add some red lipstick. Tease your hair out big and sexy. And bam! Tell me about it, stud.

Now if you want to kick it up a notch, add some latex! We would swap out the black leggings for our skinny jeans! We think they add even more to this rock and roll costume. And you can wear them over and over again after Halloween is over.

Meow! What about cat woman? Such a classic! Find yourself a good, black bodysuit. Try American Apparel or even Target! Or just a black leotard would work. Dig around for your sexiest black heeled boots and long gloves. Add a pair of ears and some vampy lipstick. You're a regular old cat burglar!

Now, we would do away with the leotard. Oh yes! Instead we'll swap out for our catsuit with hater top. We think it's much more cat woman! And who doesn't want a catsuit? It's a classic!

Be sure to share all your Halloween costumes with us on twitter! We can't wait! Let the mischief and fun begin!

Let's get dressed up!

We thought we would have a bit of wild card post today! We want to have a little fun... Halloween is right around the corner. And we still don't know what we're going to be! But we hit the goldmine just the other day. Marie Claire posted 10 easy, DIY costume ideas. We took a few and latex-fied them! Don't get it? You'll see what we mean...

Happy Memorial Day!

TLS RubberGear had a terrific weekend in Chicago at International Mr. Leather! Here are some pictures taken while we were there this holiday weekend!
The Booth! Lots and lots of latex for the fellas!
A customer trying on a brand new catsuit!
An early morning at the RubberGear booth.
Wow! We had such a great time! It was awesome to be able to meet our customers and outfit them in our latex! We loved it! Because of the holiday, we thought we might share a piece from The Latex Store's uniform section.

This is our Military Uniform. It is a single piece featuring pocket detailing near the bust. It also is long sleeved with a collar as well! It stays pretty true to a military uniform except for the fact it is a mini latex dress! The only color option is the army green with red detail color. If you would also like the hat, you can find the single ridge here and the double ridge here. If you needed a latex military uniform, this would be a great choice! The Latex Store would like to thank all of those who have fought for our freedom. We are thinking about you and your families on this day. Thank you for your service!

Dressing aids

As much as we love latex, it can be a little bit tricky to get in and out of. And it can even be painful if you don't do it correctly (friction! youch!). That's where dressing aids come in. We have an entire section dedicated to them at The Latex Store. This one is called Pjur Cult dressing aid and conditioner. It not only aids with slipping in and out of your clothing but it conditions it as well. Latex needs a little love to stay in a wearable condition. But if you would rather use a powder over a lubricant, try this: silver cup talc. It's a fine powder made of pure talc that you apply to your skin before putting on latex clothing to reduce friction and help slide the piece into place. So no matter what you prefer, we can certainly aid you in your dressing!

Our love for Katy Perry's latex style certainly isn't "hot and cold".

I don't know if you have been paying attention, but latex is everywhere. And lately, we have been seeing Miss. Katy Perry wearing plenty of it. She loves latex and we adore the dresses she wears in concert. They are too fun and pretty sexy too, with cute patterns and plunging necklines. And how awesome is the latex cat suit she wore in her fragrance ads? Too cool! So, if you feel like channeling your own inner Katy Perry, check out these items you score today at The Latex Store. This buckle sheath dress has a very similar cut that resembles most of the dresses that Katy wears. The swooping neckline and tight fit are a plus too! And it has adjustable straps so; you can get a really great fit up top. And our mini skirt with the zip front is something else that reminds this blogger of Katy. Try it in a pink or orange for a pop of color. "Baby, you are a firework!"

So what do you do?

Leaving Gdansk this morning, hungry and all they take in payment is Polish currency.  Foolishly I thought, European Union, means everyone everywhere takes the EURO,  WRONG!  So their credit card machine doesn't work and I am truly hungry.  Solution, go to Duty Free store buy pack of gum I won't chew and break a 50 EURO note into Polish change.  Catastrophe averted, hunger pains gone.

Poland

Another whirlwind trip, 24 hours in Poland.  Gdansk is a very charming city, the only part at least.  Off the England today.  Can't wait to get back to The Latex Store
