Summer, we feel you. And what does it feel like? Uh, hot and miserable. Yeah, we said it! Wearing pants is really not an option. Hmmm. We're going to need more dresses...

Now that is what we are talking about!! Long, flowy and no sleeves. Jackpot! This adorable dress by Misa Los Angeles is really a dream come true. We love this easy, relaxed style. And those pom poms are so darling! We think this would be easy to pull off as a daytime look. Hopefully somewhere tropical?? 

I think we can all agree that the maxi dress is the equivalent of sweatpants. Don't worry! It's really a good thing! All the benefits of sweatpants without having to wear pants!! It's really a win win situation. Take this one by DVF. We cannot wait to chill poolside in this. We love that beautiful neckline too! Add some accessories and you have a perfect casual dinner outfit. We're into it!!

During the summertime, we're usually wearing sandals. We're sure most of you are as well! And if we're not wearing sandals, wedges are our shoe of choice. The add something special to any outfit. And something about them make you feel like you are instantly on vacation. Come along and let us show you some of our favorites!

Let's start out with this versatile look by Dolce Vita. We adore the Lola wedge! Those wide straps are such a bold look. And how about those gold accents? We are all about that buckle! These wedges are great for everyday use. Just the right wedge height!

You know what? We like things a little bold and fun! And these KG by Kurt Geiger embroidered wedges are just that! We are really digging that platform heel action. They basic shape and design allow for the pattern to really shine. And what a gorgeous pattern it is! We can't wait to wear these shoes out!!

We had to show you just one more style. We couldn't resist! These Chloe platform sandals are a super cool look! Wedges without all the straps! Just slip them on and go. A summer staple shoe? Yeah, we think so!

Everything in place

Finally, it's summertime! And clearly things are getting warmer... well, hot!  And quickly too. Time for a makeup routine change. As you may know, this heat and humidity doesn't pair well with foundation and mascara. Don't fret! We have a few products that are sure to withstand the heat.

No matter what, you need to start with a primer! It's smooths your pores and preps your face for concealer and foundation. It really makes a difference! Smashbox has a really great primer. It really smooths you face and fills in small lines. And this primer has SPF 20! The more protection for your face, the better! With a primer, the foundation will adhere better to your face preventing it from melting off.

Eyeliner is really tricky in the summer, especially late summer when the heat is less bearable. It's sweats off or leaves your eyelids grey or sticky. It's really a struggle. Luckily, MAC has a liquid eyeliner that's both water based and water resistant. It's really going to stand the test! And the felt tip applicator makes for really easy application. This eyeliner is a must have!

Your lipstick or lip gloss is also something that's very vulnerable is the summer time. It's smears easier and can melt everywhere. The Kat Von D line at Sephora. The formulas are wonderful and long lasting. And the liquid lipstick is no exception! We love this creamy, luscious lipstick. The color is beautiful and vivid. And the color really lock in on your lips. It will survive even on the hottest summer day.

It such a fun and carefree look for the summer. So easy to wear alone or with a bathing suit at the beach. Such a different look! What do you think?

Bathing suits last week. Sandals this week! Can you tell we are all about this warm weather? Let's hop right in.
