Creepy Crawlies

Either you like bugs or they give you the creepy crawlies. We're not going to lie, they do freak us out a bit. But they can be really beautiful! We fell in love with some bug inspired pieces. We thought we would share a few with you!

These may be the coolest pants we've ever seen. There's no doubt about it. These pants have bugs printed all over them. And they are gorgeously tailored. If it was up to us, we would pair these with a collared white button down blouse and a pair of forest green loafers. What a twist on the polished look.

It's that time of the year! I'm sure the holiday party invitations and Facebook invites are rolling in. And what are you going to wear for all the festivities? Maybe you have a dress or two. So, it may be a little too early to have visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads. But, it's never too late to start incorporating some ballet/dance themed items in your wardrobe. We love the layers of mesh and the basic black waistband. Just have fun with a skirt like this! Pair it with neutrals to tone down the look.

Encore you say? Well, alright. We do have just one more piece to share with you. This simply beautiful bib necklace by Vera Wang. It's so very delicate. We love the simple mashup of fabric and jewels. This is really going to dress up any outfit. It's really a one of a kind. It really reminds of of all the beautiful costume jewelry we see in ballet.

Pastels are for spring and fall, right? Nope! Yeah, you heard us right. We we're just perusing Elle and they say that pastel accessorizes are trending for fall! Check out a few of our must haves.

Statement necklaces are always a must, no matter what season. They work for work wear, formal attire and casual weekend activities. They are a quick and beautiful way to dress up a basic outfit. We fell in love with this mint green piece by Anton Heunis. It's so delicate and girly! We would wear it with a white blouse, classic blue jeans and a pair of brown riding boots.
